So I haven’t updated in a while. A long while. A few weeks.
Hell, 3 days short of a month.
I’ve really got to get a schedule going or something. Well, I’ve got some things to talk about, and other things to complain and whine about. Join me?
Quite a few things have happened in this last month. Some cool, others not so much. Lets just go in order from first to last.

Megacon.
It was ok. This was my second year as an “artist” at Megacon. And when I say “artist”, I mean we had a table that I sat at and pretended to draw pictures that I was hoping to sell. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not like I didn’t sell anything; I just didn’t do as good as I’d like. Let me put it this way…
Scott. Scott was drawing the whole con. Any time I looked over at him, he was drawing someone something. Be it a Robo sketch or something else, he was drawing. And not only was he drawing, he was earning major monies drawing. A hell of a lot more then me. Brain and Scott even yelled at me for selling my sketches for as low as I was. The only problem is that as soon as I went any higher then $5 a sketch, people just set down my stuff and were like “Oh.” and walked away.
Sure, sooner of later I might be able to make $30 a sketch, but right now I can’t. I’m still a nobody, so I’ve got to charge like a nobody. I’m still surprised people bought my book though (I’ll have more on that as well, just on a different post).
The rest of Megacon was cool. I met the Defuser. He’s a cool guy. Super geeky. Much more then you would’ve thought if you just watched Who Wants to be a Superhero. My dad also came down again this year as he did last year. He lives up in Kentucky, so I don’t get to see him as much. It was cool seeing him again. It’s a lot different then when I was a kid. And by kid, I mean not living on my own. He was my dad then. It’s not that he’s something else, he’s much more a friend now then just my dad. It’s nice.
Hopefully next year, PixPup will do better and we wont be leaching so much to Brian and his 8bit/Atomic Robo. We still had fun though.

So, last week wasn’t the greatest week I’ve ever had. Only a few bad things happened, but enough to ruin a week.
My girlfriend broke up with me. It was nothing crazy or violent, but still bad. We’re still friends, but it’s still just awkward. And then about 4 days later, I get into a car accident.
Again, nothing crazy or violent, but still bad. I was driving to Target and someone had to stop quick in front of me. Now, I have no reason to lie about this to you. I tried to stop. I really did. My car just didn’t want to. My breaks wanted to, my tired screeched while trying to. My car just didn’t want to. Bam.
So, turns out my recently repainted car is going to need a little more painting now around the grill area. I’ll have to worry about that after I pay for the ticket I got for “following too closely”.

Warbot in Accounting. It’s a webcomic.
Or, well, it will be a webcomic soonish. It’s something Brian and I have been talking about on and off for the last year, only to have recently moved forward with it past making ourselves laugh really hard while talking about it. And when I say laugh, I mean closed eyes-side hurting laughing. Let me just quote all that Brian has said on the subject, because it’s a hell of a lot easier to copy and paste then to type it all over again.
-The idea was derived from what I believe to be the perfect reality TV show that can, alas, never happen: My Name Is ED-209.
-Yes, it will be a black and white comic.
-It will be hosted at nuklearpower.com.
-It’s not Dilbert or The Office with a robot in it. There are no waaaacky personalities.
-It’s not really an office comedy at all. I’m not even sure if it’s a comedy per se. I can only promise that there will be images and text.
-There’s kind of a plot, but it progresses in the background or between comics. The focus of the comic itself will be its characters.
-We don’t know when it’ll start or if it will run concurrently with 8-bit for a time.
-It might completely bomb in a matter of weeks.
When I have more info for you guys, I’ll post it here.
